There is a bowl on my desk
That means that mum is home
Mum wants me to do well
I should’ve checked my phone
The small bowl on my desk
Is full of apricots
So that I can get iron
Because I don’t eat a lot
I cannot concentrate
On the work in front of me
Without those apricots
I start to daydream
Time slowly passes by
Spring into summer
And by the time I had noticed
It was all over

There’s still a bowl on my desk
That means I am home
Mum wants to care for me
Make sure I’m not alone
Soon I’ll be moving out
Moving away from home
But I will remember the
Apricots on my own
